So, i´ve almost been here a month and I really can´t believe it. It´s going by really really fast.
I started my second school [Colegio Curimon] on tuesday and I hate to say it, but it was a better first day than at the first school. A good 70% of the kids in 3 and 4 medio (11th and 12th grades) have either been or are the siblings of exchange students, so they know exactly what i´m going through. Which is a good, and a bad thing. Good thing, they know how akward everything is, and go out of their way to make me feel part of the class. For example, my school prides its self on the students involvment in the perfoming arts, so they put on 2 plays every semester. The play was to be performed 3 days after my first day. Instead of having me just watch, the kids wrote in a part for me, a small part, but a part all the same. They´re so nice, and the guys at this school are actually good looking (smiles) not that it matters. lol
Anyway, monday, i went to work with papá. Which was cool. He and his brother own a steel engenering company. I met everyone that he works with and got asked, ¨is hawaii part of the united states¨about a million and a half times. Then they would say ¨oh so you´re american¨ to which papá would respond ¨no, she´s Chilena.¨ I´m one of them!! lol.
I didn´t realize how good my spanish had gotten until we went to McDonalds (not my idea, i promise) and i could order without any problems. Then, all of these tourists came in who couldn´t speak any spanish, and i felt sooo proud of myself. lol. I should have helped them out, but i was translating for Cristhian. lol.. ooops. Just add, i like McDonalds here soooo much better. They have waitresses.
Yesterday was also my youngest sister Agustina´s 3rd birthday. We had a party and invited her favorite person in the world Barney! lol, the sad thing is that when he got there, she started to cry and wouldn´t go near him for the entire night. lol
Well i have school tomorrow, and I´ll add pictures and maybe another entry after that.

Sorry I didn't comment your previous post. I'm so touched you wrote about the food. (Though it doesn't sound as delicious as I thought it would, hahaha.) However I'm digging the McDonald's there. You should take a picture of the waitress, hahahaha.
Anyway, I'm so glad you're having a great time. You're going to be a Spanish-speaking pro when you get back! (That means you can do all my Spanish homework for me, hahahah just joke.)
School is going by pretty fast here. We're almost going on to the third week of school. Nuts I tell you. Everything's pretty much the same. I think I may have a second job lined up soon. It's a tutoring job @ Kipapa. And OMG dude the minimum wage went up. It's 8 bucks now! Just imagine if we were still working at Sbarro's...(I kinda miss that place...and Deng too, haha.)
But anyway, tell your 3 year-old sister a friend says happy belated birthday. :) Anddd good luck with the play...definitely tells us how that goes, hahaha.

i love the little updates and i usually check once or twice a week to make sure that i stay up on it. I miss you and these blogs make it more evident. But im so excited for when you return, so you can share stories and we can converse, you fluently and me with the abilities of a 2year old. So we shall see.
School is okay, the days are beginning to go by a little quicker and it is exicting that august is almost over, which leads into steptember and the end of first quarter. Lucky you, the boys are cute, not that it matters ;) but Mililani will be so less cute when you get here. Freshmen are lame but thats nothing new.
The Gym Class Heros are comming up tomorrow and I will for sure get you some pictures! Im hoping it will be good. Anyhoo the next day im supposed to start work with Raenaa and Tomas, so we will see how that goes. I saw "transylvania" on myspace and she kinda oozes the stuck-up meanie vibe. Im just gonna play dumb and find ways to drive her crazy...she calls herself a fragrance model and mentions Vera Wang all these high quality perfumes to make it sound so important. Its kinda lame because all she it doing is selling fragrances at NEX...its not like shes actually at a Vera Wang boutique or anything.
And wow McDonalds =] im glad, i hope the food is better there than here, cause we all know Mickey D's can get wiiggdy. Do they sell any special Chilean items? that would be cool.

bebe, it got so HYPHE. the crowd was NUTS i hat veronica under one arm, raenaa under the other, and stacie holding my hand. Then i let veronica go to get stacie, i let raenaa go, and i went to watch chelsey. it was so nuts, i look so hash.
i met this guy Scott. and it was WEIRD im so serious. he look a little like Micheal Taylor, and he held my hands the entire night. wtf. i didnt know his name, chelsey had to ask. so weird. i didnt even grab them he was standing next to me and our hands were grazing each other so he just took hold. 0_o. The it got freak...im serious, like his hands in my pockets freaky. i ran away when the show was over.
In total i got kick in the head three times. And now that i think about it i totally regret not buying a shirt, but for you, not me, i was tired so i just waited on the side.
Anyway there were more freaky guys...this REALLY tall white guy was staring down my shirt checking out my boobs, so black guy was feeling on Veronica, this philippino (he is posing in one of my picturs) was macking on Rae, some guy wanted stacie to bump into him more, and a another weirdo wanted to carry Chelsey. it was like damn-da-damn. FREAKY.
